Iran’s gas deliveries fell about 14%, state-affiliated Mehr News Agency reported.

National Iranian Gas Company head Saeid Tavakoli acknowledged difficulties after recent incidents at South Pars.

He says gas met 85% of power plants’ fuel needs, down from 86%, and steel and petrochemicals faced no restrictions.

He also reports deliveries to industry and small businesses were 1 billion cubic meters higher than last year.

Tavakoli gave no South Pars output figure, and no outside party has verified his numbers.
