Paramount Skydance now owns CBS, CNN, HBO and Nickelodeon.

The $111 billion merger closed Tuesday after Netflix dropped its rival bid in February.

HBO Max, Paramount+ and Discovery+ will merge into one service over time, the company said.

CBS and CNN will operate independently under a new Editorial Independence Board, the company said.

The company has not said whether it will merge Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon.
