Lithuania’s parliament voted 106 to 18 to lift its nuclear ban, Russian state news agency TASS reported.

Article 137 also bans foreign military bases, and Vilnius is pushing for a US base, TASS said.

Amendments need 94 of 141 votes in two ballots three months apart.

The Seimas holds the second vote on 12 January.
