Iran’s foreign minister phoned his Saudi counterpart, Iranian state agency Mehr reported.

Abbas Araghchi told Saudi Arabia’s Faisal bin Farhan Tehran will give “any assistance” to start talks with Sanaa.

In the Sunday-night call, Araghchi said there is no military solution and insisting on one would complicate the situation.

Riyadh’s reply to the offer is not in Mehr’s report.
