Settlers have blocked 750 villagers from their only cemetery.

Umm Safa has had nowhere to bury its dead since August.

Settlers seized the land around the cemetery, set up an outpost there and keep residents away, the village council head says.

“If someone in the village dies, there is nowhere to bury them,” said Marwan Sabbah, head of the village council.

Sabbah says he will keep trying to reach the cemetery, 70 metres away, to mark his father’s grave.
