YemenYemen’s government claims 800 Houthi casualties in a day, Russian state news agency TASS reported.
Its Operation Dawn of Yemen, launched 5 October, aims to retake Sana’a from the Houthis.
Spokesman Majid al-Nuzaili said aircraft, drones and artillery fired 1,417 strikes and disabled over 190 armoured vehicles.
The Houthis said on 12 October they had driven government forces out of areas in Taiz.
Operation Dawn of Yemen continues, and TASS carried no independent confirmation of the toll.
