India’s Aditya-L1 and Europe’s Proba-3 imaged one solar eruption together.

Each blast hurls a billion tonnes into space, and earlier probes missed its early growth.

Proba-3 measured the eruption’s shape and mass, while Aditya-L1 read gas at about 2 million degrees.

The team has so far analysed only 2 eruptions, from 14 and 16 September 2025.
