Cyclone Arnab Nears Coast

GanjamOdisha has 135 cyclone shelters and 1,600 temporary centres ready.

Arnab is due to cross the coast of Andhra Pradesh, in India, near Yanam around Wednesday noon.

The India Meteorological Department forecasts winds of 115-125 kmph and extremely heavy rain in Gajapati and Ganjam on 28-29 October.

Beaches in Ganjam stay closed until the forenoon of 30 October.
