WarsawRiot police ringed Poland’s top court Friday.
Whoever controls Poland’s tribunal rules on whether the other side’s laws are legal.
Bogdan Święczkowski, the court’s president, was suspended Friday, and Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek asked to lift his immunity for blocking judges.
Lawyer Marcin Matczak, a critic of Święczkowski, said the suspension had no legal basis “for a million reasons”.
President Karol Nawrocki turned back from Senegal while Żurek’s immunity request is pending.
