China Patrols Taiwan’s Pacific Side

Every prior patrol ran through the Taiwan Strait to the west; the east coast holds Taiwan’s Pacific resupply routes and mountain-sheltered air bases.

Taiwan’s coast guard called it “fake law enforcement” and vowed to defend the waters.
