Georgia Refinery Drops Russian Oil

KuleviThe refinery received its first Libyan oil Friday.

It costs Russia a customer inside Moscow-friendly Georgia.

EU sanctions take effect in January 2027 if Kulevi keeps processing Russian crude, its owner previously said.

The sanctions deadline gives Kulevi refinery five months to make the switch permanent.
