Russia’s drones temporarily cut internet to 100,000 households, Ukraine says.

Strikes on providers since 23 September threaten Ukraine’s banks, payment systems and public services, officials warn.

Zelenskyy says Ukraine intercepts over 85% of Shahed drones but only 50 to 60% of jet-powered ones.

“You cannot move everything underground,” said Kateryna Chernohorenko, Ukraine’s former deputy defence minister for digital transformation.

Zelenskyy and other officials are demanding more air defence as winter nears.
