TehranA tanker hit a Hormuz mine, Iranian state agency Mehr reported.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Navy says the crude-laden ship caught fire in its engine room.
The Guard says the tanker had switched off its navigation systems and used an unauthorized route, its third such victim since Saturday.
Neither report names the ship, its flag or its crew, and neither cites a shipowner.
The Guard says any ship with its identification system off will be treated as hostile.
