Manus raised over $500 million after China unwound Meta’s buyout.

It is the largest disclosed single round for a Chinese AI application company, TMTPost reported.

Beijing’s foreign-investment security office ordered the $2 billion deal undone in April, and Manus’s backers bought back the shares.

Tencent, Alibaba and ByteDance now ship rival agents, and TMTPost prices the rumoured $4 billion valuation at 8-10 times recurring revenue.

Manus is preparing a mainland version, founder Xiao Hong wrote on 28 September.
