Seven oil exporters added 977,000 barrels a day, Russian state news agency TASS reported.

Strait of Hormuz traffic stood 38% below normal on 4 October, at 2.7 ships a day.

Saudi Arabia added 744,000 to 8.001 million, Iraq 386,000 to 3.92 million, and Kazakhstan 22,000, the producers’ report says.

The seven were due to raise output only 188,000 barrels a day through higher quotas.

The group extended the window to compensate earlier overproduction through year-end but released no updated schedule.
