Egypt’s Suez Canal earned $724 million in October.

Revenue is 94% above October 2025’s $373 million, the best month since Houthi attacks began.

Ships rose 32% to 1,490 and net tonnage 86% to 88 million tons, chairman Osama Rabie said.

Ship-tracking data show Suez traffic at 41.3 ships a day on 25 October, 1% below its 90-day normal.

Rabie expects the recovery to continue, while Hormuz traffic sat 17% below normal on 25 October.
