Kazakh Oil Route Shuts

AlmatyKazakh oil output has halved this month.

The terminal carries 80% of Kazakhstan’s crude across Russia’s Black Sea coast — the same route Ukraine targets to disrupt Moscow’s war effort.

Its only alternate routes, through Azerbaijan or China, lack the capacity to absorb the loss.
