HangzhouAlibaba’s Qwen is coming to Chinese iPhones.

It puts a Chinese-built model inside Apple’s assistant for users in China.

Qwen will handle text and image understanding and content generation in Siri, writing tools and visual intelligence, TMTPost reported.

Beta access opens 4 November, and the full release arrives with iOS 27.3 in December.
